Sızıntıya göre savaşla bağlantılı 390 binden fazla Rus askeri öldü

Cyber Partisans BY ve Silent Crow adlı hacker grupları, Rosstat veritabanına sızdıklarını ve savaşla bağlantılı 390 binden fazla Rus ölümünü заferle iki farklı yöntemle hesapladıklarını açıkladı.

  • Sızıntıyla охопленіми даними у 2022-02-24 ile 2026-08 arasındaki dönem kayıtları bulunuyor.
  • Cyber Partisans BY, savaş eylemleri veya sonuçları nedeniyle 393.881 Rus askerinin öldüğünü hesapladı.

Витік also contains internal Rosstat records that may cover broader demographic, economic and military information beyond death tolls. However, the figures remain uncertain because the database's authenticity was not independently cryptographically verified, death certificates do not always state the actual cause of death, and registration delays have become substantial.

Ne oldu

Cyber Partisans BY and Silent Crow claimed that they hacked Rosstat and extracted approximately 23 terabytes of data. The material included internal documents, demographic and economic statistics and information about Russian military losses. Journalists analyzed more than 11 million death certificates covering the period from 24 February 2022 through the end of August 2026. Cyber Partisans BY counted 393,881 deaths explicitly associated with military operations, shelling or drone attacks and their consequences. Silent Crow separately reported 450,100 deaths under a broader methodology that also covered non-combat military deaths, deaths marked as terrorist attacks and people registered in Russia who died in Ukraine or occupied territories without a specified cause. The metadata was consistent with a genuine data export, and journalists found no signs of fabrication, but Bloomberg could not independently and cryptographically verify the database's authenticity. Rosstat did not respond to Bloomberg's request for comment.

Ukrainian outlets emphasized the scale of the reported Russian death toll and contrasted it with Russia's refusal to publish official casualty statistics. The coverage also highlighted the potential disclosure of concealed Russian military losses, changes in mortality among Russian men, the concentration of deaths in eastern Ukraine and the effects of rising losses on military reserves and state finances. The partially mobilized 2022 decree was not rescinded, although the Russian government may be able to call up additional reserves without announcing a new mobilization.

The available international framing relies heavily on Bloomberg, other media investigations and the hacker groups' own analysis. Reporting stresses both the potential significance of the leak and its limitations: the database's authenticity could not be independently and cryptographically verified, named lists remain incomplete, death registration is delayed and medical certificates do not always identify the true cause of death. Bloomberg reported that 8 November 2026 was the reference date for the joint BBC Russian Service and Mediazone named list of about 286,000 confirmed Russian military deaths, while the hacker-derived estimates exceeded 390,000.

Haberlerin ayrıştığı noktalar

The two hacker groups applied different definitions. Cyber Partisans BY counted 393,881 deaths explicitly linked to combat actions or their consequences. Silent Crow estimated 450,100 by also including non-combat military deaths, deaths marked as terrorist attacks and deaths of people registered in Russia who died in Ukraine or occupied territories without a specified cause. Broader estimates also exceed the roughly 286,000 names verified by Mediazone and the BBC Russian Service and the approximately 350,000–352,000 deaths estimated by Mediazone and Meduza from inheritance-register data through the end of 2025. These differences reflect methodology, incomplete named lists, inconsistent death-certificate wording and registration delays.

Arka plan

Rosstat stopped publishing annual data on causes of death in 2024, and Russia has not published official combat-loss statistics since September 2022. Media delays have increased: the median registration period was about six weeks in the second half of 2023 but exceeded four months in 2025. More than 2,500 military deaths recorded in August 2026 occurred during 2025, illustrating the backlog. The registers also do not include service members from occupied territories, and internal Rosstat data available to journalists lack current information on those missing in action who are later declared dead.
